Other Ways to Contribute
How else can you support the Streets Under Music (STRUM) Program?
At Path with Art, we envision STRUM as a program that is is able to provide equipment, education, and experiences to support and engage the diverse interests of our students. In addition to collecting instruments, there are several other ways to contribute that would help ensure STRUM is accessible and sustainable:
We hope to offer both individual and group music education to our students for a variety of instruments and musical genres, and are seeking experienced instructors and volunteers to join our educator team. Contact music@pathwithart.org to get involved.
Path with Art gladly accepts individual or corporate donations to support the development and maintenance of the STRUM program.
We are looking to find a permanent space for students to practice music. This space would ideally allow for individual and group practice, as well as instrument storage. Ideally it would be also reachable via public transportation and would meet accessibility accommodations. Please email music@pathwithart.org with any leads.
STRUM seeks to engage students in opportunities to showcase their talents and engage with the broader community. A vehicle would help us transport instruments and other musical supplies across Seattle for performances and events. Please email music@pathwithart.org if you are looking to donate a vehicle.
If you are able to support any of our goals listed above, or you have other ideas about how you can help, please email our team at music@pathwithart.org.
